Fraternis Militia Carnis humbly presents Boar’s Bush – the ale house and tavern!

The Boar’s Bush will be open daily from 3pm to 1am from Sunday 3rd August to Saturday 9th August, for members of Battle of Wisby.

The aim of Boar’s Bush is to be able to offer a place where you can satisfy your hunger and thirst in the most historically accurate way possible. Therefore, you need to bring your own cup, plate and cutlery.

Commonly brewed beer and wine will be sold, but also beer brewed in the medieval way. The focus of the food served is as close to medieval ingredients and flavors as possible and therefore no consideration can be given to special diets. However, if you need to eat a special diet, you are welcome to bring your own food to consume at the tavern.

If you have special requests, such as inviting your entire association to dinner, please contact Carnis no later than week 30.

The tavern offers coffee (for a fee) and the opportunity to charge your phone (free) from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. This is a self-service system, and Carnis takes no responsibility for the phone while charging!

Every evening there is the opportunity to play games, perform poetry or sing.

Feel free to bring your association’s musicians/singers/jesters for entertainment. (although please notify the person in charge early in the day so it doesn’t clash with anything else)

Carnis reserves the right to close Boar’s Bush if it is few visitors, stop providing coffee and charging facilities before 7:00 PM, and not to sell beer or wine to a person who doesn’t seem to need more…

When the sign hangs outside the ale house and tavern is open.
